About the game
Scala 40
Scala 40 is an Italian card game played with two French decks and jokers. The aim is to be the first player to get rid of every card in your hand.
Build combinations
Create sets and runs from your cards. Before laying down your first combinations, they must be worth at least 40 points. After that, you can continue working with combinations on the table, including your own and those of opponents.
Each turn involves drawing a card and discarding one. Choose carefully to improve your hand, complete combinations, and reduce the cards you still hold.
Winning and scoring
The round ends when one player has no cards left. Every other player adds up the points on the cards remaining in their hand.
